TM 6900 won't recognise softcam

after locking the receiver a few weeks back I managed to unlock via null modem cable (thanks to the advice from you guys).

Patched with latest software from TM (6.86) now I can't get the receiver to recognise keys when I use USB and can't patch with Darkman patch as I presume the official patch is more recent.

How the heck can I fix this, can I remove the official patch? Have tried factory reset but this did not help!

did you get the software from technomate.com?
if you did this is the official opperating software
and it does'nt recognise a tm softcam.
the softcam is only recognised by the patch software'
factory re-sets does'nt remove software if you want to patch
your reciever you just load the patch, it will over write the
software you have on your receiver then when patched you
can load the softcam, you dont say which 6900 model you have
the latest pach is v679 and it's the same version number for both
super and non super models, just be carefull to load the correct patch
now your receiver is unlocked you can now load everything with a
memory stick

you dont remove the software as such it gets overwritten when you install the patch from the "sticky threads" but make sure its for your model ie: tm6900HD or HDsuper, after reloading latest softcam you may have to put in the latest key on line 20 and 21 inthe cam menu for digitv2111 which are line 20. 70 E5 F2 97 B9 C7 DE F4
line 21 38 CC 1D BD A8 B6 84 CC.
if you are unsure about this I"m certain you can find out in the threads how to do it or someone can explain it better than me.
