    retrieve recorded programme on TM-5400CI+

    Dear All,

How do you retrieve a recorded programme on the TM5400CI+

I have set the timer for a programme, one of the options is Record yes/no - so I have set to record, but I can't find how I can retrieve this programme?

    thanks in advance

First Question, Do you have a memory stick inserted to record onto?
If so you should have a button (file list) on your remote just press that and it will bring you up what's on the memory stick, if your program recorded just highlight it and press ok to watch it.

Hi - I didn't know you needed to put in a memory stick - I just assumed the unit had some form of hard drive or internal memory to record onto.

Yes, I can pop a memory stick in. So, assuming the stick is in, the unit knows that when I set it to record a program set up on the timer - it send it onto the stick?

      Is that right?

      thanks

      Michael

HI m8, PC World (hope i am allowed to say name) are selling hard drives at the moment cheap. Western digital. Need a portable USB about ?45. These plug straight into TM and you can reord direct onto them. I bought one and works fine.
