conax channels on thor

hi guys , i have a technomate 5400 and was wondering if anyone could tell me if the conax encrypted channels on thor 1w can be viewed using a patch / softcam or would i have to purchase a card thanks in advance for any advice

Sorry M8... but conax is lost to us since they changed encryption. Hence why there was so many diablos on eb*y.

As manxspud says, no opening conax on thor or 16e for that matter.

Will have to have a look on ebay, why would anyone buy one these days.

Hi @Wooper... I think a lot of peeps took a chance to try and recoup some money. At 1 time there were about 20 odd used diablos up for sale.... if they sell all and good... if not you don't get charged... Nothing to lose... I noted that those who were selling them mostly said they were upgrading to DM-boxes and did not mention too much on what's open... No come back as nothing promised. This is why its a good idear to always do good research before spending on hobbies like ours.
