    TM-6900 HD Combo Super - Freezing

    Hi everyone

    This past while my box suddenly locks up from to time with no response from remote.

    When i reboot, it works for awhile again but then locks up.

    I only use it for fta channels and have latest offical tm firmware loaded.

    Was wondering if anyone has the original firmware for this box just to test if its a firmware issue or heat board issue.

      Always worth a check on the manufacturers website as they will hold all the original STB firmware

          Perhaps it's due to the power supply pcb.There are capacitors on there that can fail,they normally bulge when this happens.Cure is to replace with same uF but higher voltage rating.They are polarized so they have to go in the right way round.Also check to see if the navigation buttons work on the receiver when the fault happens.If they do you may have a remote problem(unlikely).Good luck.Cheers
