newbie - 6900combo - softcam or diablo?

I am a newbie, first post here! Just bought a technomate 6900HD combo super and diablo cam, cas3+ programmer. Dish is 1 meter motorized - all setup and working ok.

I have programmed up the diablo with underworld 182 and not managed to open up any encrypted channels. Do I always need to update keys on the diablo after I have flashed the latest underworld file?

Is it easier/better to setup the technomate softcam than to do the diablo cam route?

yes you need to load the latest key bin file on the diablo cam to get the chns open, when new dup files come out you dont always need to load a data or key file, but as keys etc:you load them and how often the keys
change determines how often you need to load them, it's the same for the tm softcam as well unless like the latest patches the patch autoupdates the keys. the diablo opens more channels than the patch but i use both and there is no clashing with patch and cam, i'm sure the latest keybin file is in the diablo section look in the posts in red for it and go to the latest posting
