How do i upload a softcam file to tm6800 i downloaded the new tm 6000_original_688_patch 14/8/09 but no change so i need to add the softcam help

1) plug in your usb memory stick in to your reciever:
2) on your reciever control, press usb button or menu
3) main menu-usb
4) date transfer
5) file list: = press RED button, upload channel -
Tm-softcam.key

Wait for it to finish & exit.

There is no many satellite channels open, but with the latest Tm-patch for your reciever and the latest TM-Softcam.keys you can open lots of channels: Start with, Digi TV @ Thor/Intelsat 1.0W

So, point you dish on Thor/Intelsat 1.0W and Load the latest TM-Softcam.keys

I dont have 6800 but try to format stick + load 688 onto stick again make sure you load firmware 1st then keys.

Are you getting the FTA channels ok?
you can check if the softcam loaded ok by going into menu-system info-CAS menu then look for ident 2011 on the nagra headings you should have four lines of numbers line 10/11/20/21 if lines 20&21 are just rows of zeros the softcam has not loaded.if after reloading the patch then the softcam it still wont work get back to us with as much info as possible.

first check if the free to air channels are open with a strong
signal look for bbc world news chn, if this is open, then i would
also check that the patch is turned on
transfer the softcam onto your memory stick and put the
stick in the front usb port on the receiver then turn on
next press the usb button on your remote and go to data transfer>ok now you see a small file panel with the tm softcam showing on it. just click>ok and it will load on the receiver
[do not press any coloured buttons], you only use the coloured buttons to upload from the receiver when you want to save to the files on your computer
