You need the softcam loaded to clear Nova.Forget Bein Sports,you can't get that with biss or softcam.To load the softcam put the de-compressed softcam file onto a usb stick and then put the stick in the receiver.Go to the usb download manager and highlight the softcam and press ok(this downloads the softcam to the receiver.You then exit out and the channel should clear.softcammotors is just a softcam for a motorized setup.Cheers

The method on how you typically install a softcam key is not what i have an issue with, i've installed softcam keys on numerous occasions before on various models of TMs. What typically happens is you go to download manager as you say, click ok on the softcam and it downloads/installs to 100% and then the TM restarts. What i'm getting here is when i click on the key it goes to download but does not start to write the key onto the TM (stays at 0%) and the system does not restart. I've tried both the last two softcam keys in the softcam key thread and i get the same thing. In a split second the download box flicks on and off again.

Btw, is there absolutely no way to get Bein Sports? If so, out of interest why not? Going by the streams i get on the net they show pretty much all games so unlocking those channels would be ideal.

I never get the receiver rebooting when I've loaded a softcam,only happens when I load firmware but I don't have a 5302 but a 6800 and 5402.What software do you have?You could try this procedure if you have a problem with the box:
1) Back up Channel List and long/lat settings for usals(if you have a motor).
2) Factory reset stb
3) Power off at back of stb for 40 secs
4) Load latest patch
5) Factory Reset
6) Switch off stb at back for 40 secs.
7) Reload backed up Channel List and long/lat settings.
8) Biss,cs and softcam should remain.
Or maybe try anotrher fat 32 usb stick.Can you upload a softcam or channel list to the usb stick?And then downlload them.
You can get quite a bit of football,as mentioned in post #6(also Stan Sports(biss) on 65.5E) but you may be able to get Bein using a method we're not allowed to talk about on here.Try google.Cheers

Also,just checked the softcams you have and TMSoftcam 10.1.2015.rar doesn't clear Nova .The SoftcamMotor.zip,dated 9-1-2015,does clear Nova.Both loaded ok.Cheers

Hi A couple of points to note
1) The softcam keys you load makes no difference whether you have a motor or not. You just need the correct satellite ie if your dish is fixed at 39 east then softcam with correct keys and patch should work. If you load the motor softcam it just means that as your dish does not move then you obviously wont get other channels on different satellites.

2) You can enter keys manually via the CAS menu. You will need correct patch regardless of which softcam method you use.

3) The softcam does not reboot the box as far as i am aware ..only when you install a patch will the box reboot itself as this updates the memory and softams only updates the keys menu.

4) On TM boxes if you try to load incorrect patch you normally get message like Incompatible Model or similar.

Thanks for the replies.

Not had the opportunity to try the factory reset method yet but tried using different USBs (3 in total) last night to see if that was the issue but still nothing. It goes to download and then nothing. I'll try and get a video clip up soon to show you guys exactly what is happening.

@Markwi. Getting all the Bein sports channels would be absolutely perfect, would solve all my issues. Any chance of a PM? If not, a suggestion on what to google? I've tried "bein sports channels for free" but i'm getting a load of streaming site results.

Any help would be much appreciated.
