TM600

Expecting delivery of a TM600 this week
Does anybody have a tips on how this box performs, reviews etc ?
and how it compares with the Dreambox ?
Any help would also be well received.

Far superior to dreambox 500/600. Excellent support/picture etc. Has 2 scartsa nd rf output as well.

Hi pal ive got a tm600 ,
only had for a few weeks but once i got it set up and running ,ive got no complaints , i cant compare to a dreambox cos ive never had one.
so far with the help of dk ive been able to laod all the latest images etc ( ur image )
also able to watch everthing that people can watch with dreambox

I find my tm500 box better than my dm500 but the pic isnt as good, sound is better and a few extra menus. Really easy to get latest keys too. All i cant do is find out who opens what for me which can be done on the dm by hitting info twice.

downloaD ccaminfo as plugin and that tells you. As regarding pic quality that is down to your set up as pic is far better mate.

Many thanx to Fearon, Gibbo & Jackpot for your advice.
Regret I forgot Monday was a holiday so I don't have my TM600 yet.
Another complication is I have to change the 36v jack on my dish to a DISEqC motor. - I hope to be powered up by Thursday latest.
I will post again when I am up and running

I use cvbs on both boxes on the same 42'' tv with all the av settings the same. DM does have better pic imo.

RGB far superior, try both on that and check again.

Its tooo dark. Il try it with tv brightness higher.

TM 600

Hello again you guys !
Got the dish set up at last and now have the TM600 talking to my PC through VLC media player.
Owing to the house next door, I can only get sats from 30 east to 5 west.
I'm a bit nackered after setting up my DISEqC positioner so I will take it easy programming the box.
Any help with an idiots guide to installing Ccam etc and getting the box fully operational would be greatly appreciated.

Dont use the UR image in the link otherwise you will have a tm500

I have digested all the replies to my recent post and ! by the way MANY THANKS for all your help to date !
Updated the TM600 with the Linux loader and lost all my channels and USALs positions - With the latest Ur image and power on with the front button depressed, I restarted and loaded usals for 28E,19.2E 13E & 1W. - Double blue button and load cam config, bin & keys - nothing clears - what am I doing wrong ? - my head is spinning - I think I will fire up my Starview 4 box and take in a movie - Help !!
