remote control help

changed teh remote setting in the menu area to type 2
now it not working unable to get back to change it
no longer working is there nay way i can get it to work again please

hello mate,
you dont say why you changed it in the 1st place, are you sure the batteries are ok.most remotes are type 2 they are rounded off at the bottom the type 1 has only a gentle curve. as Isay check the batteries as you should still be able to access the menu with either type.

no batteries are new it was at type 1
changed to type big mistake
no fuctions work now nothing
just had this a week

i dont know if it's the same as the tm1500 it's this way turn on then
press Menu>Password Setting>O.K. > Enter Pin (default is 0000) Then at the bottom of the page you have "Remote Controller" type 1 & 2.

do a forced download. To check if remote actually works- use camera phone and aim at the end of remote-press remote buttons- you should see a white light flashing onyour camera phone each time you press remote buttons.

try and reload the official software by using a NULL MODEM lead instructions for this can be found in the technomate sticky section.I"ve uploaded the official loader and software for you.

Do a forced download.

How to do a forced download

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) Download latest patch for your model
2) unzip/unrar patch
3) Open Darkman loader 187
4) locate the file you have just downloaded
5) click connect
6) switch your reciever off at the back
7) switch it back on again
8) loading will start automaticaly

This may have to be done a few times till it actually loads but it will definately load and then all will be ok again.
