WRONG SOFTWARE

Hi all, My technomate 6900HD COMBO super+, I
downloaded the latest s/w for my technomate 6900HD COMBO super+, I
think it is s/w version 6.88 aug 2009 if i am
wrong let me know, but no joy as my channels on
1west are not clearing with that s/w 6.88 aug 09, I
have tryed downloading it a few times with rs232 cable but still
the same and when i go into system information it
stays on system information as it ware locked you
cant key edit as with the s/w version 679 april
09,so i went back to the s/w version 679 april and
my channels on 1 west are back but i am still
getting a freeze now and then on the channels and
every so often my technomate 6900 turns itself off and then on again is it cas i have the wrong software ,
and also
can you tell me how to save my channels if i try
it again as i have lost all my fav ch line up, My
model is a TM-6900HD COMBO super+,please reply [email[/email]

If you go to the factory re-set menu and then "save as default" (do this twice) it should allow you to re-install your channel list but no guarantee.
try this softcam after you have put your patch in..Make sure auto A/U is off.

a lot of tm 6900 super users have had problems
with the latest patches that support the spectrum analyzer
if they use the blind search feature when scanning they loose all
there settings and channel lists etc: and then have to factory re-set
and load everything again, most have now reverted to a earlier patch
the 6900HDSuper 679p dated17-04-2009 and this has sort the problem
this is why i pays to keep a copy of your chn list and motor settings etc;
on your computer to make setting up a lot easier
