I've got a 5400 ci+ super, and I use it with a iredeto card for watching chinese channel (TVBS europe) on subscription. My dish is 80 cm with technomate motor. I've got good signal strength and quality ( at least 85% on both) and can watch the channel fine. But, everytime it has to update over the air, it fails and I have to dig out a crap topfield box and call the co. to re-update using that box.
My question is, does anyone else have this problem? Like an iredeto subs card and same technomate box (not necessarily the same sub. channel) that wont update OTA? Its annoying to have to do it every month, and I'm pretty sure the technomate is the better stb. It can't be that I'm watching a channel on a seperate sat and its not updating EVERY time because it just so happens I'm watching at the very moment it tries. I've left it on the chinese channel for a whole month before and it still does it.

the only other thing is, everytime I call cust support to get them to reactivate the card, they keep saying 'oh you have a motorised dish and maybe thats the problem, why don't you change blah blah blah.' EVERY time. I'd actually leave it on the topfield box except for the fact that its usals is crap. When i shift to a new sat then back to the 9E it doesnt align properly and I get a crap signal, and have to manually align it with the fine tuning to get a good signal.And I can't timeshift with the topfield, cos its basic
