TM 5300 D+ ????????? HELP

there are only about 30 channels on thor. what is the a/u?
sorry man i sound stupid but im better on computer haha:P
i wish i had those channels!! how do i install them? thor onli has a little bit off channels. and there is no signal on them for some reason

are you useing this box on a fixed dish set on thor at 1w?
and have you scanned the satellite for channels?
or are you useing the default list that came on the box

first what size dish do you have?
if you have bbc world news channel you are set on thor at 1w
is the dish fixed on this satellite? if it is do the following
first press menu> and go to satellite set up>ok
and on the top line you will see the satellite your set on
is it thor ? if yes click>ok on it and a small panel will open
there you will see thor 2/3 press the yellow button and it
will put a tick again'st the sat name, next exit the menu
and then press menu again and go to motorised settings
and turn the motor setting off, and click>ok on save
you should see the signal and quality bars at the bottom
they should show a good signal it's a strong satellite
now just press the red button to scan the satellite for channels

is the dish fixed or motorised?
and if you usualy are on w2 is at 16e
and if your fixed on this sat the patch opens
nothing on this satellite and you need a official
card for football on digialb channels

but the levels read and the the quality is red and low
i dnt no what to do

right mate first menu sateillte set-up and put a tick
on the satellites you want on your satellite list if you dont save
the setting when you move sats you will loose the satellite possition
next you need to go to motorised settings>ok
now go to the second line down frequency
and useing the right vol button move the frequencies
and see if you get a signal if you do then press red to
scan the satellite for the channels.

you know what! thankyou, at first it worked!!! i had all the channels on thor! it was great so many unlocked!. now ive lost all the satelites im so bloody pathetic!! i need help sooo bad
the onli one that works is eutelsat w2
thor doesent have any signal.
when i go to motorized, its got some then it goes. it onli saves 46 channels!! but they dont have singnal
please help i realli dnt no what to do

i get the impression you have change receivers and think it is plug and play, and you hav'nt set the receiver menu up for the time, tv settings,motor settings and satellites. i did say earlier if you dont save the sats etc: once the dish moves you will loose the sat you were on. i dont know what receiver you replaced and if it was on motor setting [usuals] or diseqc 1.2
i would put the old receiver back on the dish and go into the menu and if the motor is set to usuals write down the motor settings [long/lat] exactly and then change to the new receiver and go into the menu and first factory re-set the receiver then start the receiver set up again for the time, tv, motor settings.satellites. then the box should find the satellites and remember there postions once you have rescanned the satellites the factory re-set does'nt remove the software just any settings and channels you have on the receiver.and returns the box as it was from the factory,

Hi everyone , Like ive been reading from Benny and avi88 , and like im having difficulty understandin how to get these patch files on the reciever , and first of all where can i get the patch files online? and ammi right wen i say the patch files cum as a zip folder and u have to like extract the files before u put it on the usb and start the transfer on to the reciever , people please help , much appreciation to whoeva replies ....
