technomate5400 ci usb super ?neewbie today

hi i dont seea thread for using soft keys?
on this system,
i would like to experiment with opening up the chanels, could someone point me in the right direction for the information i8 need?

i have a motorised technomate 5400 ci usb super thingy :-)

what files do i need to put on usb stick and what do i do with them when i get them, where do i get said files..

hi, thx for those threads, but they do little to help me,,

the 1st one tells me what to do with patches (i think),
the second one is old links that dont work and the third one is something about the 5000 model.


i am not too bright and could do with more explanation pls..

Agreed mate reread them, alll info you need is there I just checked.

@farmergal... your tm-5400 is in the tm-5000 super series range... download the patch... unzip it and put it on a usb stick... do the same for the tm softam and follow the the guide for patching your tm... the second part patching by usb is the 1 to follow.

it really is easy... as you can see by my profile, i have the same box as you... reading and doing is the best way to learn in this hobby.

hi im new to all of this i know some1 that has a tm 500 and he can get jsc and canal + can u use keys to do the same with tm 5400
