Forget it mate for the moment cos it aint clearing channels, looks like it's been updated a few times today.
Benny9 is ofline probably gone down to the pub and I don't blame him

Got the file, cleared the channels - bl**dy brilliant -many thanks!
Now, anyone got any suggestions as to why I can't get anything other than 'No Information' on EPG? I do get a few hours on DigiFim1 and 2 but no others...

I have just re-writen the key file for 1w and its cleared, not sure it was me or AU has come on again especially when you say Benny/9's files cleared
It's all new to me
EPG is a bit sparce for me as well

I read EPG has something to do with clock settings..have tried setting to CET, GMT but can't make sense of it..and don't get why it works on some and not others - maybe they simply don't broadcast info.

I wonder if some kind soul could post a tutorial on how to update key's manually? I enter 8280 scroll down to a free slot and enter the 16 (bi)digit code using 'i' and 0-9 and then save but it don't seem to work. Is this the correct procedure or am I missing something?

8280 is for biss keys
you need to press MUTE and EXIT butons and then input keys in proper cas

Ahh ok.

So I can get into the CAS menu I see slots from 1 to 200 with different encyption systems in them. 1 to 72 are full at present.

Do I just choose the next 'free slot' and choose the relevant encryption system e.g. nagra (Ident is popultaed with Dish Network (0000) and enter the code against 00 ?

Or am I missing something? TIA for the help...

ok thanks. Do both keys usally change at the same time or just one of them?

Also I heard mention of a key 'discoverer/gen'???

To date I have just used the softcam patches but yesterday caught me out. Do you have any other advice?
