Czech Channels

Ha thanks! My mrs is czech and going to czech tomorrow for two weeks. She will bring back a skylink card i have loads of channels at the moment with a few softcams and patches. Complete with motorised dish. Problem is its not enough for the wife!! She wants to watch ive hockey world championship later this month. But only availiable on 23.5 astra 3. Ct4 on 12.525. Which is a painin the ass to get 27/7!! Women eh?????

Adrian just wondering how much the skylink cards can be picked up for? is the sport 1 and 2 cz channels in the standard card or do you have to buy a premium card for that?

Anyone know if they need to be paired with the box - presume not if they can be read in the TM as long as the box reads cryptoworks/irdeto?

Sorry i really dont know how much or what channels yet. The mother in law bought and registered card just hope it works ok in tm 5400!! Got most tps but 12.525 and 12.565 only in early morning and early evening!! All rest stay good. Anyone got any idea???

Bigger dish maybe.

Already got triax 110. Only place i can put it is side of house. So cant really go much bigger. Signal gets up to 70% quality. Then drops off slowly

Agree with Manic bigger dish appears to be the answer but if you cant do that you could possibly try another lnb although unlikely to make enough difference.

I have a 1m dish (Scotland) and cannot pull in either of these TP`s. Clearly neither could the person who`s channel list I use (English based) as they are not on that - so must be weak TP`s.

The cards look very good value but seems you need to be Cz based.

The unlimited card is around ?70 and gives you a standard package (which incidentally seems to include the channels on the 2 missing TP`s!!!) with premium for two months. It would seem you can then add various packages - the sports are only about ?6 per month which is superb for around 8 channels.

Post back mate if you dont mind to let us know how it goes. The next time the Mrs is going home you can get me a card

all u need to watch ice hokey wc in Slovakia is find channel STV3 or STV1 there are on tp 12.565 H 27.500 astra 23.5 i got about 70 % signal so it is good....u also need skylink card which cost me 65 euro.....all games will be there i can guaranty

Okal am I correct in thinking you dont get Sport 1 and 2 with the skylink card but you can add them as extras?

Problem is 12.565 is same as 12.525 drops off at night.

Are you getting a good signal on this tp? Where abouts are you? What dish etc you using?

u will get sport 1 and 2 only for two months after that time the channels is pay monthly so you have to pay for them..the same is Hbo comedy and lot of channels ...all you have-you dont pay for after you buy card- is 24 channels where is 2 sport channels and that is CT 4 and STV3- unfortunately no english football at all but champions league tuesday and wednesday games all they choose... and hockey,...that important :-) sorry for any mistakes try to improve with me english :-)

i have the same problem before with this tp...i use 1m dish and im living Hull...all i can you advice is move dish little bite and use channel stv3 as main one and you will find about 70 % will by fine in night time-that what i do but also you will totaly loss al czech channels as CT4 or CT1,CT2,PRIma etc...but still watch hokey on STV3...or mine mate buy motor dish i think 1m and guality is perfect on all channels astra 23.5...you prefer cz channels or slovakian???im slovakian so for me was better to lost cz but get svk channels which are on TP 12565.i just think i help you little

Thanks for your advice. My wife is czech so prefers czech but can of course understand slovak. I have 110 triax dish motorised. You think i can move slightly with motor and get 12.565 24 hrs?

yes for sure just do it when this tp is off i mean night time when signal gone...just move side to side and im sure you will find maybe more than 80%......

Good shout Okal slight adjustment was all that was required for 12.565

Mine still fades! Think they both lose signal at same time!
