    6900 Super Positioning Problem

I wonder if anyone could help, my 6900 Super has started playing up recently. It doesn't always move to a different satellite when it should. For example if I select a channel from the Freesat favourites sometimes it goes to 28e other times it doesnt, and I have to select 26e which it moves to, then it will move to 28e when asked! But its all very sporadic sometimes just works ok other times it wont. The motor is only 12 months old, an Alsat Darkmotor with metal gears. And the dish is correctly aligned. Any help would be appreciated??

    Thanks Kyliesat

if you ask it to move via the SAT button is it ok or is the problem only when trying to get it to move by channel selection? it may be a soft ware problem as I believe the 688 patch on the 6900 super has given some people trouble and they have gone back to the previous patch.

Thanks for your help, the older patches don't appear to be available to download anymore though

have you tried the download section at the top of the page instead of the red stickies?

Had a look, dish gone to far east, and now wont move. Tried a motor reset, but nothing. Motor is a 12 month old Super Dark Motor. Dead motor I guess?
