hi guys ,i have technomate 5200dusb but yesterday it showed a warnning saying"short occured to lnb connection.make lnb connection correct then restart the machine. I have checked this but all connections are ok ,i have allso done a factory reset but still the same even when i unhook input cable from box i still get this warnning i even reflashed box with latest softwere still the same ,is there anyone out there who could help me out please the box is four months old .Thanks in advance

first i would open and re-check all the f connectors for a short
and if alls ok i would factory re-set the box. and then load
the official software from technomate.com if it's the
super model you have. it's version 116 dated 19/8/09
then re-scan the box and see if that sorts the problem
[it says in 4 LNBF warning message]

lnbf warning

ive just had exact same probs with my 5400usb super choose wot you do it has to be fixed either by technomate or by a engineer as it causes a fault to the receiver it cost me ?25 ..my receiver was under warrenty but by the time id sent it to suppliers ..then onto technomate tooooooo much messing about (but they did offer to fix it) any way wot i mean is dont mess your self just check the basics eg..cables..conectors ..resetting.. alignment..if still shows lnbf warning its a faulty box (ps you can pick a replacement up for ?50)
