just got my dish up and motor and have a technomate 1500+ CI

and im planning on putting it on thor but becuase i bought this box from ebay i do not know if it has the correct patch ect and i need it to get bbc world to help me set up motor so will i need to patch it 1st and if so with what one as ive had a look but none seem to be too recent so i was wondering if someone can give me the latest files i need for the 1500+ CI i already have darkloader and a null modem cable so just need newest patch files and softcams if i need them and they are available please

well before i read this post i actualy got it set up on bbc world news signal at 75% on thor but becuase of it not being patched there was only a few channels i could get. So stupid me unplugged my technomate and plugged my brand new dreambox 500 in and i was sure i had it all set up when i done scan it found all the transponders and services then i went to look at a channal and it came up on screen moving to thor. it was already on thor so now ive mucked it up and ill have to get the guy out again now if i made it so thor was on 0 on the motor if i get someone to go up and just move it to 0 again will that be it back on thor again . i got told by someone technoamte will be alot easir to set up than a dreambox and i think they were right eh ? but i realy want to get this linux machine working so anybody got set up instructions for me for once i have it on thor then just plug my dreambox in and set it up from there . thanks for all the help guys and ive clicked the thanks button before writting this

Plug the TM back in and send it to thor 1 west and it will go there again ok.

that was the 1st thing i tried and it's no giving me channels there and signal is now 14% so dreambox must of moved motor if i select blind scan its finding channels but not on thor some on astra i think ive now patched it and added the soft cams im disabled and cannot go up the ladder my self and dont feel right asking my friend to go up there again eh ? so any advice so i could get it back on a sat would be great m8 and once i get technomate set up again how do i go about getting dreambox working once i have technomate on thor again as i noticed on dreambox i couldnt find usuals only diseqc 1.1 and 1.2

hello mate
try this using the technomate,go into the motorised settings menu make sure 1W is on top line and 11.323 H is on 2nd line 3rd line put to usals 6th to 1W check your lat/long are correct in position setting then press "go to"and yes to are you sure and hopefully it will sort itself out.the guide I sent should explain it a bit better.

If the TM was on usals then just re -enter usals long and lat. For Dreambox when selecting set up at the beginning select the many rotors/difficult selection. I cannot remember exactly but it is the first on the right when you get the options. Alsoenter usals settings when selected this option.
