TM 6900 Combo Shutting down

Over the xmas hols my TM6900 HD combo mysteriously began shutting itself down whenever it was switched on. Happens so quickly there is barely enough time to look at the menu! Suspect 'little fingers' but as things are my satellite tv viewing isn't happening.

Aside from relocating the receiver 5ft up the wall in future, any suggestions please?

If the set is not on long enough to do a factory re-set the TM web site www.technomate.com have bootload software in their download section for your box it has to be loaded via rs-232 null modem cable and latest software installed after but it may get you out of trouble.

I have little finger trouble as well.I"ve ended up putting the boxes in a glass doored tv stand that I put a lock on to keep the little dear out(my grandson).
