My TM5200D USB Super doesn't have a CAM slot, can I connect external card reader to it ? What is comapatible? Do I connect it to USB or RS232?
Cheers

you could buy a card reader for the 1500D model
i dont know if these are still available or even if
they can be used for the 5200D but the 5000 models
are direct replacements for the 1500 models
have you tried going to technomate.com and on
the left of the screen click the [contact us] button
and ask there for help and info for a card reader

I had look at the receiver again , it is defently TM5200D USB Super. All I want is to buy external card reader and connect it either USB or RS-232C and then buy a card to get some channels. Is it possible?
Will the card reader decide what type of card I can buy (depeding on the encryption it supports)?
I had a look at www.creativesatellite.co.uk but only I think suitable is Smargo, it that right?
These card readers are multikrypt and read 99.9% of all cards.
