what area are you from ?

a 1m dish will do fine, but most areas can get away with a 90cm one.

get a decent motor Diseq 1.2.

depends on what channels you will be watching what box you should get, HD boxes are better in my opinion.

AZboxes are ok, and IPboxes, but there are so many to choose from and everyone has their own personal choice..

ask what you want, price , quality ?

iv just fitted a 1m my first one and unless you are a confident diy'er i would get some one to fit it. not much channel wise open unless you are prepared to pay or google c/s.

Digi tv full package on 1 west
        JSC Sports/art/abasat/bis/sct on 13e
Arqiva on 5e and numerous other individual channels.
        Quite a lot open really.

well said m8, theres plenty there for a beginner to get started with and if the op fits the system his self it,ll come in at less than 200 pounds for an sd system.

imo if you have problems putting a shelf up mate then a tchmate is the right box for now,
you can buy 1m motorised dish packages if you look around.
