      Guys,

      Please can you tell me if these patches work on the original technomate 5000 -TM- DapCI receiver and will it work for Virgin cable subscribers?

          No and no.
          There is no support for that receiver anymore, too old.
          Why would a sat receivers patch work on a cable box? How would it clear satellite channels via a cable set up?
