No mate, but the TM500/600 are basically IT gate boxes. Good boxes and good support from the UR team.

not same company,,,
DAGS( iTgate ) make the box,,, Techomante pay for a TM OEM,,,so basically get there own front panel saying technomate and there own flashing software

those boxe been In market with difent names before from 2-3 years...after they come with name Technomate in UK....if you see them Long time agou you evn could tuch them
I ma afraid same will be for New TM ...will use Clinets like a donkyes for beta tester for another two years and i amsure after 2-3 years will be good box.

but you have to agree, its nice to have boxes on the market that are still supported after a few years though, so many places bring out receivers with some sort of gimmick just for sales, then they quickly fade away, along with all the support that was there at the launch

and something that is copied over from something else, will already have a support base, and will have continuing support

Technomate can use some people around to test, is their problem, but not using 300 coustemers Money and use them like Donkys to test their stbs.and do their experiments...Same like Tm 500-600 when remote controll did'nt work after 2 weeks and they have to change all RCU and get new STb Hardware...I am sory for the fist 300people they will get one ,if Tm dont use their own freint pannel that mean that stb will be change again maybe even hardware and this people will be like a fish without water...
If they have success they buy if no they start with another experiment...is not fist time they do that.

if you actually read what i posted, and understood it, youd see that it was saying that even if TM copied another receiver, it happens with just about everything
it would make no difference to me, as ive explained to you before, if technomate, sky, alsat, eurosat or any other company went bust tomorrow, just as signaltech has folded, it affects me 0%
im impartial to any make, model, company or providor, and give an honest impartial view over receivers i have in my posession, i have no sponsors, sales targets or other 'ties' that mean i have to favour one over another
if you have a problem with a person or company, then thats your problem, but i can assure you, its nothing to do with me, and those that know me, know that the probability of me baing some form of spy is total

exactly, everyone always wants the latest update etc, i have a pre-production TM500 (one scart) with the first UR image on it (needs an old style remote) in my boys bedroom and havent bothered changing or updating it because it works, i updated my 7020 that i use as a server from newcs 1.20 and mgcamd 1.13 to newcs 1.67RC1 because the card needed it, my DM600 that i have recently replaced still had PLI Iolite and mgcamd 1.13 on it, my DM800 ran nabilo BH0.8 for ever, untill a major crash made me update it to BH11, and BH12 has been out for ages
i do have a few receivers that are always bang up to date, but theyre not ones i actually use for viewing, most of what i do with receivers is just to help others along, i watch very little telly myself, when my LCD packed in last year, it took 6 weeks of the kids nagging me to get it sorted out (they have their own tellys too, im not that bad)
all this for me is a hobby, im just fortunate enough to have access to trade dealers, so i can buy a new toy, play with it, sell it cheaper than RRP as its used, and not lose out
but like you say, as long as it allows you to watch the telly, its doing its jobI break my stuff, so you wont have to
