ive got the driver to work now but its now saying canot open file when i click connect, dose any1 no were iam going wrong thanks.

Files must be unzipped.

Check which com port your virtual serial port is using.

Go to device manager you'll find it there, set it to com port 1 or 2

Vista and some other will have it set above 4

ive sorted the com port out, when i click connet it loads %100 but when i switch the box from standby to on the channels are still scrambeld

ive just realised it wasnt loading software it was loading on the key option, it wont let me load the patch on the software option

Have you unzipped the patch put both loader and patch in C:/ and try

its now saying invalid firmware file, sorry i bet you think iam well s**t at this.

here is a easy way to patch,try it it may work.
1st thing to do is unzip the patch you have just downloaded
then connect the rs232 cable from the computer to the tecnomate, then open the loader there you will see four tabs on the loader press the one that says software.
now you have to go and get the patch that you have unzipped,go back to the loader and press the browse button and find the patch on your computer, and when you find it double click on it and that will load it into the loader.
next thing to do is make sure the download button is ticked on the loader,switch your machine on (technomate) and then press the connect button on your loader then it will send the new patch to your technomate and delete the old one and thats it done.
then load the latest softcam do the same thing but this time press the keys tab on the loader exactly the same as loading the patch,good luck.

how long does the patch normally take as my is showing 0% still and its been going for about 15mins now.

Only Digi films nagra 3 others still clear.

just managed to do the patch for my tm-1500ci+. it has opened channels on 1west but not sure what els its ment to do, could some1 let me no what channels should be available and what satellites i would find them on, thanks.

it wont open much more, if its magic patch and latest softcam you will get a few on 5E a few on 13E including sct channels and a couple of others here and there I believe.
