I try to do timed recording on my TM to the usb port but it will not alllow me. I can do instant recording to the usb on a 4 GB memory stick and this will playback OK. If I use my 32 GB stick it wil record but on Playback it hangs the TM and it will not do anything till I reset via the mains switch. The TM is relatively new and no patches or anything else were added. have I got a hardware problem or should I download the firmware for the PVR. I know I am presenting a lot of problems in one go but I thought they might be associated.

Download latest patch, usb stick may be too big though. Sometimes TM does not like some types of usb sticks.

Hi, Thanks for your reply and the suggestion. Regarding the USB size, If I was to use a USB external drive as the manual suggests surely this would be much bigger than 32 GB. It could be though that the patch caters for that.
