    manual key edit TM500

right have been trying to find a UR image with tuxbox commander on it. have tried the following from "sat4fun" without success dated 14/10/09,22/12/09,20/01/10.
I have also tried a gemini image which did have tuxbox on it and found var.then keys.but could not find softcam keys the rest I just did not understand,Is there any other images that will allow me to put keys in manually?

Ok mate, unless you use cross over ethernet from pc and then set up sharing you cannot dl keys. There will be no softcam keys in var until there has been keys downloaded.

weird sorry about that, i remembered it having tuxbox included at somepoint and thought it was removed after that image as theer was quite alot of changes.

also why can't you just plug an ethernet cable into your box ?

can't you just get a pci lan card for computer then use crossover cable ? or get a cheap router/switch, don't need broadband to make your own local network :P
