you only need to load the latest patch that is specific to your box for the TM-5300d+usb super its this one any patch you load simply overwrites the one already in the box.

you will need to load the latest softcam(found in the TM softcam section)

Technomate 5200d super sat receiver

that patch will not load into a TM5300 you must use the exact patch for your model try these,patch 1st then softcam.this is only of any use on 39E,and/or19E,4.8Eand a couple of channels on 13E really.

I've recently bought a 5200d super sat receiver, have pointed it a hotbird 13.0e and have been getting a scrambled message on some polish channels. Will this patch / softcam work for them (such as TV 5 and Polsat 2)?

Nope nothing opens except some RAI italian channels and some other odd ones and fta.

Hi. Polish channels are long gone thanks to NAGRA 3 etc. You will need to get a POLSAT/CYFROWY card from Poland . Ask a relative to get one for you as i know a number of Polish workers in London watch Polish channels with cards bought in Poland.

i have been searching the net for quite some time trying to understand how to work my receiver and thanks to this post and your replies i have finally been able to understand what patching and softcams are. i just have a small issue and i would be greatful if you can share you knowledge.

I have the Technomate TM53000+USB and as i understand correctly i need to patch using Phantompatch-TM5300D_5200D_189p_09-03-2012.stb

The difficulty i am facing is this softcam.
I have HOTBIRD 13E and managed to successfully load JSC (al jazeera) sports 1-10 11.296H 27.500. However, its locked and im not sure how to find the softcams for it.

i would appreciate your assistance or help in understanding the issue.
