    another TM500 question

Is there a way of getting back to the motor config menu to fine tune the longitude setting in USALS without doing a factory reset.
I can use move motor control in the motor setup menu but that of course reverts to its original position on channel change.

    yes mate
    Motor set up
    red button usals
    tick box usual
    long/lat appears.

Just to add box can work with diseq and usals at same time for different sat.

Use motor control and then store in motor set up for eg 13e. This will store for diseq only and all others wills till be usals. sat you want.do this for each

Top tip when storing sat position on your box.

Dont go for default number use the sat number instead. If you change again it the future you will know what your are changing.

example: using motor control to fine tune, save position. Defaualt will be position 1 or 2 etc.

Use the sat position for your this number. (it wont accept ".") so 28.2, will be 282. Thats up to you.

hello mate yeah I havent got round to using the stored sat function yet but I will.As the set is running fine and I can find all the sats I"ve scanned in by the handset button I havent as yet seen the point of it but that may become evident once I play with it.

Only comes into play if you use the motor control to fine tune your dish position. You have to save it or it will revert back to last sored position or USALS if your using that.

what i do is save 1west as 1, 5e as 5, 7e as 7 all the way upto 53e which is 53, then for the west sat i add 60(furthest my motor goes) so 15w is 75, 30w is 90 45w is 105. Its makes it much simpler i believe.

                    Hi Jackpot,

good system, I guess it's what suits the individual.

Only just noticed that you can only save 2 digits.

                    cheers csb
