Hi id just like to reconfirm im doing this right

Ive read the sticky also but just in case



1:/ Download Magicpatch-TM5400CI_5600CI_SUPER_131p_20100125.rar
and patch that via the usb stick.

2:/ Download the latest TM softcam 16-2-10
and patch that via the usb stick.


Reason why im double checking is theres also a Firmware thats from technomate webby thats an stb file is that the same as the Magicpatch TM5400ci super ?

question 1 & 2 thats the correct way to patch but you can also patch with a rs232 cable,
and the firmware from technomate site is the official firmware and not the same as magic patch,if you want the hacked channels you will have to load the magic patch and softcam.hope this helps regards hoggy.

Also backup your channel list to usb before you do factory reset just in case something goes wrong,otherwise you will have to install all the settings again.
