which box is better Technomate TM 500 or Technomate TM 5002 ??? i know nowt about them

hi m8, id say a tm 500 as is is linux and has alot of possabilaties and as for the 5002 ive never heard of them but if its a 5000 series,eg 5200/5300/5400 they are good receivers but when digi-tv switches to the dreaded n3 there wont be much left open via emu so i would go with the tm500. regards mdt

If you mean tm5200 thats a std technomate box the TM500 is a linux based box and is the way most are going now because of its internet capabilities which others have more knowledge about than me.
It depends what you want,the TM5200 is fine and easy to use if you just want a receiver for FTA use.
