entering lat and long into technomate

I have got my latitude and longtitude from dish pointer to enter into my technomate to drive my motor, which is lat 53.5240 long -73654. In my reciever it can only take 3 digits say 53.5 and 7.36, thats how i entered it but my motor doesn move to the right position. what am i doing wrong.

I don't have one of these but.....

First align your dish/motor to Hotbird (no idea why, but that's what I've read) - make sure it's spot on and all signals are the best you can get. Then input your long/lat (as you have done, yes it is as you had typed it), from then on in it should then find all the rest of the satellites. However also from what I've read (and this is on the TM5500D) Technomate have not allowed you to set the limits in the USALs menu, this means that the limits have to be set in the Diseqc 2 setup.

Wish I could help more, but I can't, the above is what I have read.

ask in technomate section how to input lat / long best bet there but every motorised setup i've set up always point dish to south true not magnetic then drive dish via receiver to 1 west thor most southern sat in midlands then as long as dish is set right all others will fall in line

ps there is a fine tuning dish in the stickys

GastonJ hotbirds is 13e not very good for setting up motorised with
