Technomate 6900 LAN Sharing - Please Help

    Hi there,

I have a 'Technoamte 6900 Hd Combo Super+' sat receiver. I have searched and searched for answers to my problem, but so far no joy.

I recently updated the firmware on the receiver using the latest/patched version available on this forum: http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...s-patch-10673/

Unfortunately, I am unable to access the 'LAN Sharing' menu by entering the code 8281. When I enter this on a normal channel (whilst not in any menu) nothing happens.

I have even tried a factory reset, but unfortunately this didn't help. If anyone could please help me it would be very much appreciated.

    Many Thanks....

    6900 and 8281

I have a 6900 super and all i can tell you at the moment is that i have the 714 patch installed and 8281 opens the newcamd menu? maybe you could try that patch and specify precisely which patch u have installed.

also see below the add-on in post 8281 menu

Try patch 679 it works no problem. You can also view some 19.2 channels using Fausto very well with this patch.4.8'east soft coded videoguard clears also with this patch but none of the newer patches will. There is sometimes recording issues with 679 but a quick standby reset and it fixes the not recording issue.

715 is an official TM software - you need a software that ends in a "p" (for patched). The latest is 7.26p which you should be able to find. Some people don't like this s/w as it causes a re-boot on some french channels - so you might preffer 7.25p.

I'm currently on 7.26p which as long as you avoid TF1 Fr2,3,4 NT1 on Astra19 is fine. Currently with the correct softcam, BIS (former ABsat) is open on Hottie, as are DORCEL on 13, ESPN America on 19, MTVs on 19, TCM CN & Boomerang on 19.

            Best of luck
