UK Channel List & 8 Day EPG cfg.

Here's an Updated UK channel list for a fixed dish with a matching "channels.uk" config for WeekEPG on UR image.

I've gone through and sorted what was broken on WeekEPG "channels.uk" zapping/epg etc and have managed to fix all what i consider the "Main" channels "more then 250" Full 8 day EPG available for all.

didn't bother checking/fixing > International/Shopping/Religious/Adult/HD channels.

Zapping / Timers / Auto Showing whats on now / should all work with this, "fingers crossed" had someone else zapping channels for me while i marked down if they worked.

I've also created "UK Fixed Dish Channel List" to match the epg order/channels. used FTA versions when available. you could copy and paste bouquets into an exsisting Chan list with two instances DBedit if you have multi sat setup etc.

i suggest transferring channel list with DBedit as other apps don't keep some of the renaming in bouquets.
and to update "channels.uk" delete the existing one from /var/etc/ and replace with new one over ftp, then restart enigma.

Here's the List of all the channels i tested/fixed and that get full 8 day EPG data using this config, and in the order i used.

also, good setup i found for using with WeekEPG on UR is.

-press "yellow" button
-press "menu" button when plugins menu is open
-choose "show coloured buttons first"
-use "move" to change WeekEPG to yellow if it's not.
-reboot box from holding down "standby" button, to save settings.

now you just press "Yellow" button twice to get EPG.

channel list & EPG cfg should work on any Enigma Box but i tested on a TM600.

Been some Updates/Changes

Zone Horror/+1 has been Rebranded/Renamed to Horror/+1 / Entertain Bouquet.

Changed the version of "Sky Sports 1" used by chan list and EPG, to a version that works on Dreambox's aswell.

also added HD chans & duplicate Sky Sports EPG's to end of channels.uk

cheers for the upload .but i have put uk channel list in var/etc but where do you put the week epg file as it is a folder when open with a few files in .a idiot guide would be good cheers for any help

cheers manic01 got this running it was just where do you put the files or folders from the week epg download as i could see a uk channel list in my var/etc file and have altered that but dont know what to do with the other files that are in the down load

not sure what your having troubles with but..

channels.uk.05.04.10-WeekEPG.zip = extract then replace channels.uk with one in /var/etc/

UK.All-05.04.10 = Full uk chan list, extract then open folder with DBedit.

UK.FTA-05.04.10 = FTA only uk list, extract then open folder with DBedit.

ok did the ftp thingy and replaced my old uk file with the week one and i now have favs and uk list but it does not show alot on the epg it is only when i press yellow x2 and the epg shows more but i have to reload log file every day am i doing something wrong as i am a bit thick.cheers for your time with this matter as i would just like to get the epg working like my dreambox 500c cheers

Also Added Sky Box Office Live. and SID that shows the now & next EPG for it / Random Bouquet

The Unexplained Channel was renamed to Showcase / Reality Bouquet
the old "Showcase" was renamed to Showcase 2 / Reality Bouquet

New channel from "Five" has/is starting for the UK only.
Channel TBC / Random Bouquet, will change bouquet when it starts airing content and there's more info about what will be on.

From the "empty" EPG entry it had before tests started.

Channel TBC broadcasts a variety of factual and general entertainment programming late at night.

MASSIVE thanks to MKDons73 for getting the EPG id i was missing for channel now named "Showcase 2"

Hallmark's started broadcasting in 16:9 when the source is available in widescreen.

and LIVINGit+2 has been Rebranded to LIVING Loves / Entertain bouquet

Living Loves will showcase dramas and comedies from Living's recent history including new series Cougar Town, premium dramas Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Private Practice and Supernatural, and previous series' Charmed, Will & Grace and The X Files.

A lot of the International chans have also been updated/fixed on the EPG thanks to "sakiblateef" i've put them at end of list and can be enabled/shown in options.
