TM3500 USB firmware

Hi all ,
Just bought a 3500 usb model which currently has software version 1.77 (november 2008). I have checked the technomate web site for any updates but there are only loaders mentioned for this model. Does anyone know if there are any more recent official updates for this model or can I just go ahead and start using the patches available here and if so which would be the best to begin with. Sorry for the newbie questions , I used to have a motorised system back in the old analogue days but this is my first venture into digital.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

the patches are based on the official technomate software
so just load the latest patch and softcam. and everything
can be loaded with a memory stick,

hi m8, put these on your tm3500usb using a pen drive making sure you unzip them first. install the patch and then the softcam and all should be well. regards mdt
