BADR 34

Hi Guys,

I am still very much finding me feet and what exactly I can and cant receive with my TM5400 CI - with footy being my flavour at the minute, I noticed dubai sports and jsc sports on badr 34 - but when I move to that satellite, I get a signal of 87%, then it drops to 70, then 50, finally ending up at 20-22% and no signal! Any ideas?

I have read somewhere that you may experience issues with BADR 34 on 26E due to the strength of the signal coming from the nearby ASTRA bird? Should I maybe try deleting BADR and trying to find it again, where does using diseq 1.2 instead of usals come in handy?

hi m8, depending on the dish size you should receive badr4 but badr6 is impossible unless you have a very large dish. if you are using usals then try ajusting your long/lat co-ords by small amounts(0.1) as this could find badr for you . also i use the txp 12.182.h..16200..3/4 so 28.2 doesnt interfear when fine tuneing the sat position. if you have no success with usals then try using diseqc 1.2 instead. regards mdt
