TM600 Image Problems

Hi

I have a TM600 brand new with the TM default image. I've used TCC to set a password, and using the remote set the network up - can FTP to it no problems.

I've downloaded the TM600_20_01_10.img and this is where the problems start,

- Using the IP element to update the image I get a pop saying "Operation Times Out".

- Serial update - the box continiusly goes on about can't communicate to PC.

Any suggestions.

I dont know if this will help you thanks to "digidude" I"ve got the tm500 and found the ur image dated 14/10/09 suited best.shows internet connection allows key download and addon download no problem.I am not IT literate I"m afraid I just followed the guide and it worked.

Thanks mate - In the end, I sat back and had a think & tried the mini-web method, but was initially getting FAIL on the box display, after enabling DHCP on the router, the min-web method worked a treat.

just as add on... when i was trying out the serial update on the tm600, it also failed to communicate with the pc... how ever all i had to do was reset and change the comm port.... in my case it was comm 4... then worked fine. everything else was as digidudes guide
