go to menu>installation>PID search green button "add tp" you can then enter transponder, symbol rate & polarity manually.although that tp is used by digitv(it may show as 12.723) which is the correct frequency for the digitv channels I believe you are after.

you may be too late now as digi may have closed.

Hi tried that before, when you get the transponder list up there is no frequency near to 12724 to scan, what i really meant was how can i enter this frequency either manualy on the technomate or by altering the the channel list that is programed into the reciever.
        Thanks again

sorry mate not quite sure what you mean the 1500ci is an old box now but cant you input tps the same way you can on your 5400 via the "add tp"button in the PID search menu?

Hi thanks for the reply, in the add tp in the pid menu you can only add tp frequencies that are in the tp list and 12724 h does not appear so when you scan it will only scan through that frequencies in the list.
If you watch the frequencies when it is scanning it always skips that frequency because it has not be included in the tp list. So what is needed is a file with this frequency included in the tp list or a way to include the frequency manualy into the file.
            Thanks,

If you go menu/instulation/advanced search then go down to transponder, press green (add TP) it will then allow you to type the number in and you can then do a scan to get what you need. Hope this helps,

Hi you can't do that it is the same as the pid section you are stuck with with the frequencies that appear, as you scroll through them 12724 doea not appear so you cannot scan that frequency.you can alter the symbol rate and the pids but not the frequency, you can only alter it to what is in the list.
it is included with the files for the 5400ci but these will not load into the 1500ci.
                Thanks

I"ve just added a transponder on 5W that was not on the list on a tm5400 (I chose 5W because there was only 8 tps in the data base) and it worked fine,If you could only scan tps already on your list there would be no point in haveing an add tp menu.
when you press the add tp button the frequency and symbol rate lines should go to 0 and the pid slots will stay on auto unless you want to input them manually.
It will only stop you adding a new tp if it already exists in your list or it is an invalid tp and it will tell you that.
