    Hi m8,

Change the comm ports until you find the right 1 ( IN TCC)... for me it was comm 4.

Hope its not 32 for you

had a feeling that was the problem mate so i tried changing the com ports till i found a few that seemed ok, extracted the file and tcc said waiting for recievers response, reciever was saying on tv to press ok , when i did this it said computor not responding, tried it on a few ports but but only up to about port 15 up to now, will try the rest tommorow and hope for the best. thanks for that mate. anyone else any ideas what the problem might be if the outher ports do the same? cheers makumlad

        Delete the virtual ports.
Make sure you have a password set for tcc

tried that guide dick but wasn't getting anywhere fast. before i gave up last night i tried using a different version of tcc (so i thought but it was the same downloaded from a different place) connected and updated first time via ethenet cable. all up and running spot on now. i can let my hair grow back now, but mayby i'l wait as i'm fitting my dish/motor up tomorrow on my own . thanks everyone for there help,it is appreciated
