Technomate 1500ci crashes with magipatch or phantom patch

Hello all, Well this is my first go at a post in a forum of any kind. I hope I get it right. I recently decided to get my old technomate 1500 ci decoding stuff again but have had no luck with the latest patches that I was sent by a friend. The receiver was patched with ver 3.04 STB file which worked fine except it no longer decoded much. my mate sent me two recent patches magipatch 3.06 and phantompatch ver 3.08. Both of these files crash my receiver. or rather it will not come out of standby once the stb file is loaded. the software loads in the normal, way the receiver briefly shows the channel nember it was last on and then locks itsself in standby. it does this with both the phantom and magipatch but when the old 3.04 stb file is loaded the receiver works again. I ve not done much viewing of whats on on the Clarke Belt recently Can someone please tell me what I can expect to be able to view these days. I have heard thet there is decodable stuff on astra now but probably not on 1 west.now the world cup is in full swing. Thanks in anticipation.

      hi m8.
you could try loading the latest tm softcam
and see if that gets more chns open for you
as for the new patches crashing your box it
could be a software glitch i would do a factory
re-set rescan all your sats and chns back in etc:
and then load the latest patch dated 23/6/2010
and see if that helps i hav'nt seen any other reports
on the latest patches posted by phant0m crashing
but as aready said there is'nt much open now on the
      patch now
