i have a technomate

this is a 1st time post for me regarding technomate- i know nothing about this receiver. whilst im grateful for any feedback the thread receives. if i get messages saying - just go and read- you neednt waste your time posting, as i said im new and am a slow learner.

ok besides the above, i tend to use dreambox as my sat box of choice, the technomate is a another box that ive been given, i have absolutely no idea of what it can do, nor do i know what a patch is.

if somebody can tell me what to read im happy to read it

We dont tell people to go and read when we cant be bothered answering like some forums but i do sometimes send people to look at the stickys.
A patch is firmware which includes the latest keys to open channels and often they will have au enabled so you dont have to repeatedly update the receiver.

I don't have a technomate myself but had to sort out a few problem a friend was having with his technomate so like yourself had to sort it out from scratch. What you are going to need is a null modem cable, a pc and some software. To load the the software you need software loader program on your pc and the keys and patch to open encrypted channels. There are loads of loaders and patches in the download section depending on what technomate you own, if you can't find one for your box, let us know and we'll do our best!

My Box purchased NEW 11/05/09

Present Firmware 1.97 March 26th 2009
Present Loader 1.21

Please can someone offer advice if I have a hardware problem or firmware bug causing this following problem

The box recognises the USB only when powered on from mains
Tecnomate Logo displays and USB found message displayed
Press USB key on remote box displays found USB and you can record OK

The box does not recognise USB if box is placed into standby mode and then brought out of standby mode
No Tecnomate Logo displays no USB found message displayed
Press USB key on remote box displays no USB found and you cannot record.


What I have tried
I updated original firmware to 1.97 by USB box accepted update and rebooted OK

help me! can tell me un soft it's need for technomate tm3200d+ and if it's good cable null modem whit configuration pin ;2 at 3,3at2 and 5 at 5 or it's need cable pin to pin?my cable have 9 pins and have conected just pin 2-3,3-2,5-5

all the patches and softcams are posted in the technomate section
on this forum the posts are at the top of the section in RED type
you will also find the loader panel,[make sure you use the correct loader]
the tm 3000 series use there own loader, this is what the plugs on a
null modem cable look like both ends solid with 9 pin holes. see j-peg
if you need help on how to load the software just ask mate

i have a technomate tm500 and a mate told me that he can download sky tv to his pc then through internet send it to my technomate box and i can watch all the channel he can becuase he got all the subscription.....what software will he need on his pc and are there any patches etc also he needs.....i know i am bit vague in details but i swear this is the best way to describe it.....u can e-mail on******* and explain it more finer details ,,,,,i think you are wizard at the knoweldge...thanks

HI everyone,

Also bought a TM 5400 CI and just reading through to gather information. It all seems a bit complicated, a lot of jargon to learn but hopefully I'll get there

I have a 80 cm motorized dish, able to receive with good quality Hotbird, Eurobird, Nilesat and Arabsat/Badr/

Altough the latter with only, I managed to get 800 or so channels on Hotbird, 120 on Eurobird. A lot of these channels are scrambled.

Can someone advise the latest patch / softcam please?

could only just read your black script,but get the latest patch from Download center make sure its the correct one for your exact model then put this softcam in it will open whats left on bulsat at 39East,orf and canal digitaal on 19E,arqiva on 4.8E tv globo and a couple of rai channels on 13E.you will not open anything on 28.5E.
