Which patch and softcam for 6900

I have a technomate 6900 Combo past 2 years and has been working fine.

About 2 months ago i stopped updating new patches or softcams, and lost a couple of channels but didn't care.

2 dishes pointing at 1 west, 13, 19, 21 east

But about 1 or 2 weeks ago we lost
Animal world
Euro sport 1 and 2
Cinemax
and others.

So i went to the Stickey for Patch for 6900 (not super) and loaded 692 patch and then the latest softcam from the softcam stickey no_frills_digicam 28 06 2010

But the channels above are all still scrambled.

Then i read somewhere that there was problems with latest patches and one should try older patches with the latest softcam.

So i tried patch 690

Still all those channels above scrambled.

I remember something about Options.... set AU to 'ON'
so i went to 'Menu'
'Installation'
'Option'
and set DIGITV AU to 'ON'

Can someone refresh my memory on what step i am missing or doing wrong please.

I think the discovery channels may now be gone as well.
Cinemax is still open with latest keys.

a lot of digi has now gone but cinemax is still open for sure.load this patch(thanks to phantom) and turn a/u off then load latest s/cam and whats left of digi should open.

when unzipping, says corrupt..

I downloaded and unzipped the patch and softcam... both unzipped successfully by the way.

Then loaded Patch (A/U was ON at that stage)
Then turned A/U Off
Then loaded Softcam

Cinemax and others still scrambled.

Any other ideas of which patch andsoftcam combination to use, or anything else i could be doing wrong?

try this softcam m8, digi-tv seem to be changing key everyday now so always check for the latest softcam. regards mdt

I tried that latest softcam you posted.... no joy.

Are you sure that the Patch should be as old as 688 ?

Which patch are both of you using.... if you can see Cinemax for example?

hi m8,try this patch and then load the latest softcam. if that doesnt work then you could try this go-back software via a null-modem "patch" lead and then re-load 688p and then the softcam. regards mdt

use firefox to download, I.E. does corrupt files, others have unpacked ok.

I downloaded the 692 from the Sticky... thst did not work.

hi m8,have you tried the go-back software and then re-load the 688p patch as this has been confirmed as working by dick-b? also there is another new softcam as digi-tv seem to be changing keys twice a day now. regards mdt

as MDT has said digi keys are changing constantly and will not open even with correct patch if you dont have uptodate softcam.
I have given up with digi at the moment and on my tm6800HD am using phantom patch 696 to recieve Bis on 13E.(this does not open digi even with latest keys).I can switch patches easily on my box but you need the "go back software"on yours I believe to remove the 700 type patches.
