    Choice of Motor

    Hi Everyone

    A neighbour of mine wishes to motorise his 1metre dish. He has a Technomate 5400 super receiver with a monoblock lnb at the moment and wonders which motor to get. Would the Technomate 2600 be suitable, and is it straightforward to install ? If not, what motor would you recommend ?

      a tm2600 motor should be fine for a 1 meter dish and are pretty straightforward to install. the most important factor is to make sure the wall mount is 100% plumb and that the dish is set central on the motor spigot/pole. regards mdt

          as MDT says the tm2600 is fine(I run one) this little guide might help and there are others in the general sat stickies.
