Technomate 6900 HD Combo

This is my first ever post and I am in need of some help or advice please.

I own the 6900 HD Combo version and I am trying to check and install new updated but when I put the updated onto a USB stick and try to install into the box all it does is add another copy of the file to the stick.

I thought it had worked but then I lost all my channels.

Am I doing something wrong?

when your in the date tranfer menu you have to move to the new update in the list of your usb and ok on that file upload starts automatic then. don't prees any coulored button.

After loading patch, make sure you load latest softcam as patch will contain old keys.

can you tell me what the tecnomate is im new to this site had all my channels wiped and now im going into meltdown i was on mmds with ch##us please help

It's satellite not cable my friend.
Nothing to see here, move along
If wanting to get into satellite scene, it's a lot more involved than a plug n play cable box you will need to start reading the stickies.
