    Help please tm5400 ci super

HI after loading a patch on my tm5400 it wont switch on only a brief flash of the green lights then nothing .I bought a null modem cable downloaded a loader from the technomate site(1.8.0.8) and also got the super 116 stb file.I've been trying for 2 days to get it switching on but still nothing.Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did they resolve it?

you dont want the official loader try this one and the patch.
      then do as Manic01 says.
switch stb off at rear.connect up null modem cable.unpack loader and patch open loader and browse for & load patch.click on connect then turn stb back on at rear.wait for sending-erasing-writing and finish box should re-boot and be working.if not keep trying.

success! stb working again,as i suspected the usb/null modem driver wasn't working so i plugged the cable(minus usb interface)directly into tower downloaded loader and software from technomate site ran it and straight away the stb booted up ,thanks again for the advice
