Ive seen a few patched Technomate's on ebay but not sure if there are any clones like there is with dreamboxes ?.
And what type of motor would be the best I think i'm right in that the DiSEqC controls the dishes position but would I need a power cable from the Technomate to the dish or a seperate power lead.

I'm sorry for all these questions as i said I know sod all about this type of setup and can anyone show me any links where I could learn about this type of setup.

        thanks again.
1m will do but where do u live???
buy the 5400ci usb, and the tm2200 motor.
        the stb powers the motor.

thanks sadiq999uk I live in Barnsley south Yorkshire. would the 1m dish be ok fixed to a wall and which mounting bracket would you suggest ?.
Ive had a look at the dreambox 8000 but at that price they can shove it I cant them seeling many of these at this time.
Ive got a dreambox 600 hooked up to my cable so a Technomate will do for me but I was thinking of a TM-6900 HD super tomake use of the HD are these any good ?.

t and k brackets are the best i have a 1.1 mtr up with the all in one L shape type but there is a bit of play in it i would go for the t and k if i were to buy again

just out of interest why dont you buy a dm500 and go for a card share thats a few months subs your paying for something that may not last

you tv will only work with one fixed dish at a time so you can get ten dishes and ten wires into ur house and change the wire everytime u change sat or just buy a technomate 5400ci and use the cam slot on that
