    TM6800+Super

help required - please, my TM6800+Super wont do a blind search. I get a "insufficient memory" message after I start it. Also, if I try to add a new transponder the it goes into standby and back on.
I've tried freeing up memory, by deleting unused satellites and transponders without success. My 1.5m dish and TM V+Box travels from 28.2E to 24.5W and shows about 2000TV and about 1000radio channels.
I'm tempted to do a factory reset, but before I do - help.....
    Regards

go into the factory re-set menu and delete all radio channels and see if that helps it still sounds like the memory is maxed out you could also try deleting all encrypted channels. if you have been doing a lot of blind searches it will soon fill up.if all else fails do a full re-set and re-scan but dont use the blind search.

I had the same problem with same STB, i had to greatly reduce the number of stored transponders. the long way is to go through each satellite removing the encrypted transponders that your patched box wont open.
Only blind scan the frequency range for that individual satellite or you end up with exactly the same on say such as 9 and 10 east

        Thanks dickb and mjon
I've dumped the radio channels to no effect - I now feel it's a factory reset. when I bought this Rxr I was told that one could add more DDR memory - has anyone done this?

Google Clarketech sat editor, it works with Technomate 6900HD+ delete all the sats and channels you don't need or want, this should free up you channel memory.

          1. Copy all your channel info onto a usb
          2. stick it in a laptop or PC
          3. Open Clarke Tech editor
          4. Delete the stuff you don't want
          5. Reload the info

Its a long time since I last did it so just have a look here

I manually went to each satellite and deleted all the unavailable transponders. You will find a few satellites with transponders against them that you can't receive, delete the transponders. It needs an a little time dedicating to this task, but will be worth it by removing all the "impossible" transponders that you will never get a channel on.
