    5200 super or 5300

    Hi all

I have a 5200 super running on a motorised system, and hae been offered a swap for an older 5300. As I understand it, this has a card slot. What card would it take? and what extra descrambling would this offer.

Thanks for your help - in advance.

    Cheers

The super allows you to record encrypted channels(only those which you can view ie,digitv)
The 5300 is not much different but has a card slot but cant record the encrypted channels

      Hi Sadiq

I'm not worried about recording, but would the a card open up more channels? If so, what card would be best.

I've just found out that there is an optional card reader ad-on for the 5200 super - so that might also give me more ability to unscramble the channels

      Cheers

if you buy the card reader and install it ur receiver will automaticall become a 5300usb super so thats better.
the gamma card will open up the most channels.
        and use the thnx button
