technomate signal strength stuck

hi, have tm 1500ci super, 1 metre dish based in london, no matter which way i turn dish, signal strength in red stays at 95% doesn't fluctuate up or down like it should, and quality jumps, from 3-5%, changed lnb, and remade f-connector connecters, and re-booted box, any help much appreciated, thanks..

Sounds like you are not hitting on any satellites. It takes 3 seconds for signal from satellite to reach your dish.Are you moving dish slowly and trying dish in up and down movements as well?
If there are any dishes near you look at where they are pointing and turn yours to that position and with patience and time you should pick up 28.2 east where most dishes would be pointing to. The operating word is PATIENCE.

turns out i never had the tm motor set up right, the old one you roughly lined up the nuts on the longitude/lat/elevation etc. i only noticed they now have markers so you can get the accuracy, spot on, adjusted that an hey presto, 1 west,then i motored all the channels in, thanks for replies, it will teach me to assume the obvious...
