Hi All,

I have a bit of an issue - myself and my mate both have TM5400+CI boxes and I have no problems with any patches or softcams, whereas he can upload the softcams no problem but gets and incompatible file message when he tries to upload any patches. All uploads via USB, files okay (tried using my USB).

We bought the boxes from different sources and I noticed that his USB port is inside the flap on the front, whereas mine is on the back - even tho they are supposed to be the same model. This is leading me to think that his may not be a real TM - any suggestions?

there were a couple of 5400 usb boxes made super and non super you can only patch with the exact one for your model I dont think anyone has cloned these boxes.Tm softcams are compatible with most tm std boxes.go to system info in the menu it will tell you the model there.

Older boxes have usb slot in different psoitions.
Also there are super and non super versions.
There are no TM clones.
