my tm500 box is saying no internet connection on the static ip. any ideas to get it going

un plug router and internet then box and reboot all and see wot happens and turn off static ip

Just noticed this thread - did you ever manage to fix your Technomate, Humans First?

I had the same trouble as you a few months ago, couldn't get it to accept forced download from PC via RS232. Tried for several days!

Took it to Technomate in London, they tried and couldn't get it to work either. I ended up buying another one.

When I got home I connected the dead one to the working one with the same RS232 lead, did a forced download from one box to the other, and the dead one loaded it ok and came back to life! It's still working now

So if you know someone nearby with the same model of Technomate...

Just got a technomate tm-5400 ci+usb with motorised dish, it lists the channels but won't show them, hope your downloads help, thanks
